The Ouya Saviours is a group of dedicated individuals who have revived the Ouya gaming console after its official shutdown.
When Ouya’s servers were switched off in 2019, the console became virtually unusable, as players could no longer access the store or their purchased games.
In response to this, the Ouya Saviours created a replacement server that allows users to bypass the console setup screen and download games from an archived library. They have also hosted two Game Jams a year, which has provided a number of new games for the platform.
The Ouya Saviours have breathed new life into the console, ensuring that it can continue to be enjoyed by its community. Their efforts are a testament to the passion and dedication of gamers who refuse to let their favorite consoles fade into obscurity.
